Marriage vs Cohabitation
America is not like it was back in the 1960's. Since then, we have the invention of the microwave, the computer, the laptop, internet, and wifi etc. We have come a long way when it comes to appliances and in the technology fields. How have we developed and changed in our culture? Over half of a century later we have run into many changes. Gay marriage is now legal across all fifty states, the definition of family has changed, and women aren't expected to be at home and in the kitchen. Those aren't the only differences. Divorce throughout the country has increased what seems like tenfold, children being born without parents being married, and the main topic, couples cohabiting. Although it may be the new social norm, in the end it might not be the best option for a couple or their future family if they decide to never marry or live together before hand.
